Nick Fan Joins Aryaka from Masergy to Further Expand Global SD-WAN Sales and Channel Footprint in Americas
MILPITAS, CALIF. January 31, 2017 – Aryaka®, the leading global SD-WAN provider, announced today that Nick Fan will join the company’s senior leadership team as Vice President and General Manager of Americas. In his new role, Fan will lead sales and channel functions for Aryaka in the Americas region.
With more than 15 years’ experience, Fan joins Aryaka at a time when the company is aggressively expanding its market footprint as a leader in the global SD-WAN space.
Prior to joining Aryaka, Fan was Regional Vice President at Masergy, where he helped the company grow its sales by over 200%. Before Masergy, Nick spent 11 years at XO Communications in a sales leadership role. He was also the proud recipient of the President’s Club (Masergy) and X Sellers Awards (XO Communications) for many consecutive years.
“I’m excited to join a company that is on a tremendous growth trajectory,” said Fan. “Aryaka’s connectivity solutions are the perfect fit for any global organization today looking to replace their MPLS and address application performance issues around the world.”
“Aryaka is growing at an exponential pace. We recently completed a $45 million Series D round of financing led by Third Point Ventures and Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners and have experienced 100 percent year-over-year growth for five consecutive quarters,” said Jim Hilbert, Chief Revenue Officer at Aryaka Networks. “I’m pleased to welcome Nick to Aryaka, and am confident that his expertise and insights will continue to propel Aryaka towards establishing itself as the future of global connectivity.”
Fan’s appointment also reinforces Aryaka’s commitment to expanding their channel business. Aryaka’s partners contributed more than 75% of bookings in 2016, up from 15% in early 2015.
“There is a phenomenal revenue opportunity for Aryaka in the channel, especially with system integrators (SIs) and value added resellers (VARs) in addition to master agents,” added Fan. “I look forward to further expanding the company’s sales and channel organizations and scaling our market footprint in the Americas.”
Aryaka is transforming how global enterprises connect sites and users worldwide, and use mission-critical applications to support modern business execution demands. Aryaka’s Global SD-WAN combines a purpose-built private network, SD-WAN, optimization and acceleration techniques, connectivity to cloud platforms, and network visibility in a single solution that is delivered as a service.
