The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience with market research and data research platforms to mine, analyse and predict the direction of the market and identify potential sweet spots for finding future deals.

The person will have experience in working with, and for, the inside sales teams / sales development representatives to achieve quarterly targets, by identifying prospects early on in the buying cycle and supporting the ISRs/SDRs with a constant inflow of latest, up-to-date insights that arm the ISRs for better conversion and objection handling.

It will require working with a broader marketing team to understand the product/solution, own and refine the ideal customer profile/persona, and leverage available market and data research tools to track, mine, analyze and identify potential prospects.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the data and market research team to collate and analyse market and contact data to identify prospects aligned with the buyer persona and deliver the highest quality leads to ISRs
  • Identify attractive market segments defined by industry, region, function, title, etc. to drive targeted marketing and calling activities and generate new deals
  • Own the completeness and accuracy of company and contact data of prospects on platforms like SFDC, ZoomInfo, etc
  • Work with marketing campaign teams, web teams, operations and others to identify, prioritize and nurture Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for scaling the pipeline
  • May require ability to occasionally work across global time zones
  • Enable automation, field, channel, and digital marketing teams to improve the impact of marketing activities
  • Co-own and maximize the utilization and ROI of market & contact data platforms

Key Skills & Experience required:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in Market & Data research for a global B2B technology company
  • Skilled at keeping an eye on market news and correlating them to relevant contacts and target accounts
  • Expertise in market and data research tools like Google Alerts, TechTarget Priority Engine, ZoomInfo, DiscoverOrg, RainKing, LinkedIn, Salesforce, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience in enabling ISRs/SDRs find the next big deal to increase marketing generated revenue contribution
  • Proficient in consolidating, analyzing, tracking & presenting market insights and data analysis through MS excel
  • Strong team-player across globally spread team of ISRs/SDRs, sales & Marketing colleagues
  • Strong written & verbal communication, and presentation skills with high degree of English proficiency
