JOB OVERVIEW

The Sales Operations Analyst II works closely with Sales management and other key leadership in the Sales and IT organizations. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Global Sales Operations. The primary responsibility of this position is communicating and implementing corporate sales processes and best practices within Salesforce.com, and other sales tools to enable the Sales team. The Sales Operations Analyst II is responsible for driving execution of the global and local sales strategies. The Sales Operations Analyst II will work with various stakeholder groups including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Customer Support and Customer Success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Optimize use of sales tools, enforce best practices with regional sales leaders
  • Aid in tracking and reporting territory coverage models
  • Account, Opportunity, and Territory Alignment in Salesforce
  • Answer reporting requests using Salesforce.com
  • Aid in bookings and revenue forecast process/pipeline/forecast management
  • Liaison between Sales and other functional groups including IT, Product Management, Finance, Support, and Customer Success
  • Provide ad hoc analysis to Management
  • Assist in the pursuit of data cleanliness (in Salesforce)
  • Provide timely and accurate sales administrative forms, including sales user setups
  • Balances multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Participates in daily and weekly team meetings and conference calls
  • Coordinates with Sales Enablement team to create and align content for sales team training content, presentations, and videos
  • Renewals management – Account True ups
  • Order processing – Opportunity management – working with field to ensure quotes are accurate and approved based on standard T&C’s as well as Closing Won/Lost Opportunities
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • BA/BS degree in Business, or closely related field
  • 5 years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, IT, CSM, and/or Business Strategy
  • Demonstrated competence in Salesforce administration, reporting, and management
  • Demonstrated strong Microsoft Excel competence, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, GETPIVOT and other functions
  • Demonstrated Microsoft PowerPoint experience sufficient to create and modify presentations
  • A plus: Experience with Insight Squared
  • A plus: Experience with quoting/CPQ tools (Steelbrick/Apttus/Zuora, Vendor evaluations)
  • A plus: Experience working with a global sales team (EMEA, APAC, NA, LATAM)

  • Ability and personality to articulate processes in a meaningful way
  • Strong analytical and accuracy skills required
  • Be a confident self-starter
  • Effective presentation, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
