Job Title: Senior Manager/Director of Revenue
Location: San Mateo, CA HQ


  • Responsible for revenue related month end close activities, including preparing and reviewing revenue journal entries, revenue analytics, and deferred revenue account reconciliations
  • Review contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with the relevant accounting literature and Company’s revenue recognition policies
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on revenue accounting. Play key role in Deals Desk discussions related to providing guidance on technical accounting and policy or process issues around revenue recognition
  • Lead the implementation of ASC 606, including establishing accounting policies, identifying performance obligations for the Company’s contracts and revenue elements, restating historical results, data conversion and process development
  • Manage billing and order management functions
  • Manage TBH Senior Revenue Analyst
  • Analyze revenue trends and investigate variances
  • Partner with FP&A team on revenue and billing forecasts
  • Stay current on revenue recognition guidance and make interpretations of guidance with respect to company revenues
  • Keep management informed on day to day issues, escalate situations as appropriate, and provide visibility on new or unique situations as encountered
  • Identify areas for process improvement and coordinate with other departments to implement solutions to improve efficiency of the revenue process
  • Work closely with the Company’s external auditors to ensure approved revenue policies are adhered to and monitored and prepare schedules and reports in support of annual audit ensuring that all revenue deliverables are met
  • Other ad-hoc projects as necessary


  • 7-10 years of current industry experience
  • Working knowledge of ASC605 and preferably ASC606 as well
  • ASC606 implementation experience a plus
  • Experience calculating BESP
  • Public Accounting (Big 4) experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA (or equivalent)
  • NetSuite, SalesForce, and Zuora experience highly preferable
  • Highly organized and focused on follow-through with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic, ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in an open environment and with cross-functional teams
  • Advanced Excel and reconciliation skills
