Aryaka’s edge appliance portfolio, the Aryaka Network Access Point (ANAP), delivers on a virtualized a software-defined edge and branch solution and is part of our SD-WAN and SASE as-a-service solution. The ANAP is included in the services delivery and a key component of our single-pass architecture. The ANAP aggregates multiple WAN connections and provides converged network services including routing, encryption, security, deep packet inspection engine, and traffic management. Aryaka Single-Pass Architecture

The ANAP appliance helps enterprises simplify their edge and branch footprint by consolidating networking and security into a single software-defined and cloud-managed device. It eliminates the need for a multitude of separate, function-specific appliances. The ANAP is the on-ramp to Aryaka’s managed global SD-WAN and SASE solutions and integrates advanced networking, application optimization and acceleration, and security functions.

The ANAP portfolio consists of physical and virtual appliances based on an adaptable white box architecture running the industry-standard Linux operating system, which provides built-in virtualization (KVM) and containerization technology to support Virtual Network Functions (VNFs).

Companies of all sizes can deliver enterprise-class connectivity to remote locations – which often lack qualified IT personnel – within less than 48 hours by leveraging the ANAP’s ZTD (Zero Touch Deployment) model. ZTD means we will ship appliances to any location without the need for a customer’s technician to manually configure the device beforehand. The Aryaka managed network and security services solution helps reduce enterprises CAPEX and OPEX of their WAN and edge/branch infrastructure while delivering on superior application performance and optimal cloud connectivity.

Software-defined Solution The ANAP implements networking, application optimization and security services as software functions, built on top of a hardened Linux operating system. It avoids the costly built-in obsolescence of custom architectures.

Built-in Security The ANAP implements a stateful L3/L4 Firewall, DPI-L7 Firewall to thwart attacks to the branch. It also implements branch traffic segmentation: corporate traffic is kept strictly separate from other types of traffic such as DMZ or Guest WiFi traffic. The ANAP also supports NFV-based virtual firewalls from Tier-1 security vendors.
