Aryaka, the software-defined wide area networking (SD-WAN provider), has introduced a security platform and “ecosystem.”

Aryaka introduced Passport, a platform that integrates security layers from Zscaler, Palo Alto Networks and Radware with its global private network.

Aryaka Networks, which operates its own global software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) service targeting enterprise connectivity, today launched PASSPORT, a multi-layered security platform and ecosystem that includes value-added security services such as private network encryption, DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack protection, integrated firewall, and cloud security.

Aryaka has announced that networking industry veteran Claudio Perugini has joined the company’s leadership team as Senior Vice President of Global Channels. In his new role, Perugini will lead and further scale Aryaka’s global partner program.

Greg Orr now serves as vice president of sales for the Americas for the San Mateo, California-based Aryaka Networks. Orr is the third major hire by Aryaka in the last two months to have worked with Big Switch Networks and Gigamon.
