Good Tidings from Across the Pond –

Aryaka Takes Network Transformation Awards Best SD-WAN Product and Solution and Ranks #3 in Latest HIS Markit SD-WAN Report

We’re honored to be selected by Layer123 as the best SD-WAN product and solution.  The Network Transformation Awards, presented at The Hague, recognize industry leaders across 5G, open networking, new service innovations, and SD-WAN, with 2019 winners including Verizon, Colt, ZTE, and Intel.  Unlike some awards in our space, this one in particular is not pay-to-play.  So, congrats to all!

The award acknowledges the work we’ve done in delivering a global managed SD-WAN service that integrates connectivity, the cloud, security, and application acceleration in a OPEX-driven cloud consumption model.   Recent Aryaka wins in EMEA include Coats, HMS Host, and TUV Rhineland.

Around the same time, HIS Markit released their latest SD-WAN market size report, with Aryaka in 3rd place, just behind VMware and Cisco.  Given the relative size of the two leaders, we have nothing to be disappointed about!  The report captured a 23% growth for SD-WAN during 2019 Q2 on the back of large enterprise deployments and router replacements.  As Josh Bancroft of HIS Market stated, “it has become apparent that most recognize SD-WAN as a mainstream technology.”   Our sentiments exactly!

The report also predicts total SD-WAN vendor revenue of $4.4 billion by 2023. Note that the report attempts to capture vendor revenue, an indirect approximation in our case since we supply our technology as part of a managed service.
